The quaint and colorful hotel is located with the stables on the edge of the desert amid beautiful palm groves. It is unique in Egypt for its quiet and lovely ambiance. You will be welcomed as family. There are 7 rooms available. Overnight rates include breakfast. Lunch and dinner are available, preferably with prior notification. All meals are prepared especially for you. Our location is walking distance to the Zoser step pyramid, and the new Saqqara Museum. The coffee shop and dining room is on the third floor with views of the desert and the palm groves. Enjoy beverages of your choice, and relax in peaceful environment. Smoke sheesha if you like. The rooms are on the second floor. The General Ahmed Salem Riding Club offers horse, donkey, or camel rides in the desert, including visiting the Dashour, Saqqara and Abu Sir pyramids, or just enjoy the peace of the desert ride. For those who don't care for riding, we can provide a horsedrawn cart. All riders from beginners to advanced can be accommodated. Lessons are available for beginners if time permits. Come and stay overnight, for a bucolic weekend in the country, or make us your home base for visiting all Cairo area attractions.
